Brand Story

The Story of OAS Organics: Purity Inspired by Nature OAS Organics was born from a simple yet powerful realization—our health and well-being are deeply connected to the choices we make every day. During the COVID-19 pandemic, our mother embraced a shift towards organic living. She encouraged our family to adopt a healthier lifestyle, free from harmful chemicals and synthetic additives. Her journey into Ayurveda led her to experiment with natural skin and hair care solutions, crafting products in her kitchen using only nature-derived ingredients. What started as a personal endeavor soon gained the love and trust of our family and friends. As word spread, demand grew, and we knew this wasn’t just a household secret—it was a necessity for many seeking a natural alternative to chemical-laden commercial products. That’s how OAS Organics came to life. Named after "OAS," meaning morning dew in Hindi, our brand embodies purity, freshness, and the untouched essence of nature.

One small bar, one big impact. Each OAS shampoo bar is designed to replace three traditional plastic shampoo bottles — without compromising on care or quality. In FY 2024–25 alone, our community helped prevent over 1,000 plastic bottles from entering landfills and polluting our oceans. This isn’t just about numbers; it’s about making conscious choices that add up to a cleaner planet.

What is the manufacturing process?

The manufacturing process of each of the product is different and we try to be sustainable with it. Soaps are made through the cold process, which includes combining oils or butters with a lye solution along with natural herbs and essential oils

What are the ingredients/materials you use?

We try to use locally sourced raw materials that are devoid of any harmful chemicals. We ensure that all of our materials are derived from natural ingredients like oils, plant based surfactants, ayurvedic herbs, Natural butters, essential oils

How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

We use locally sourced raw materials which are devoid of any harmful chemicals. Few ingredients are sourced from following online vendors like - Veda Oils - Aseschem which has Zed certification

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

Personal care products are often difficult to repurpose or dispose of sustainably. Most conventional soaps, creams, and cosmetics end up in landfills, contributing to waste and pollution. Our products are different. Made with natural, biodegradable ingredients, our soaps and creams are not only gentle on your skin but also on the planet. Once you're done using them, they can be composted—returning safely to the earth without leaving any trace products.
