Every product is created through deep research on developmental milestones and extensive parent feedback, making play both educational and joyful.

Brand Story

Jugo Play was founded by two visionary sisters with a deep background in education, public health, and climate change. Inspired by their family’s legacy in educational publishing, they set out to reimagine learning as an adventure. They noticed a gap in the market for thoughtful, research-driven toys that go beyond puzzles and sorters. With a focus on right-brain development, creativity, and social-emotional wellbeing, Jugo Play creates products that are as meaningful as they are fun. Each toy blends conscious design, sustainability, and quality to nurture skills that last a lifetime.

What is the manufacturing process?

Wood cutting is done by machine for precision and consistency. Sanding is carried out either by machine or by hand, depending on the product. Wood assembly, such as in vehicles, is done by hand. Crochet toys are 100% handmade.

What are the ingredients/materials you use?

Wood is used for most products, cotton for basket rope and crochet stuff toys, polyester for filling in stuff toys. The fabrics used for some toys are cotton and polyester blend. One toy is made from acrylic.

How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

Most of the materials (wood primarily) are sourced by the manufacturers who are given the job work contract. Certain other material such as fabrics can be sourced by Jugo Play or by the manufacturer.

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

Jugo Play products are long lasting as they are made from robust materials such as wood. The wood is compostable at home. Other materials like cotton and polyester can be repurposed.
