As an organic cotton men's nightwear and loungewear brand, we are committed to sustainability, ethical sourcing, and skin-friendly comfort. What is the manufacturing process?

The manufacturing of organic nightwear involves sustainable practices, focusing on materials, dyeing, and printing. Organic cotton, used for their softness, breathability, and eco-friendliness. The yarn is spun and knitted into soft, comfortable fabric using techniques like single jersey knitting. Dyeing uses azo-free dyes, which are free from harmful chemicals like carcinogenic amines, ensuring safety for sensitive skin. These dyes are eco-friendly and reduce environmental impact by avoiding toxic substances like formaldehyde and arsenic. Printing uses water-based or soy-based inks, which are non-toxic, biodegradable, and safer for both the environment and the wearer. Garments are sewn with non-toxic thread, and eco-friendly packaging ensures minimal environmental impact. This entire process results in high-quality, safe, and sustainable nightwear, meeting growing demand for ethical fashion.

What are the ingredients/materials you use?

Organic knitted nightwear is made from eco-friendly materials that prioritize comfort, sustainability, and skin safety. The most common fabric is organic cotton, grown without pesticides or synthetic fertilizers, making it soft, breathable, and gentle on the skin. These materials are GOTS-certified, ensuring they meet strict environmental and social standards. They are free from harmful chemicals, making them ideal for sensitive skin and reducing the environmental footprint of the garment. Organic fabrics offer a comfortable, safe, and sustainable alternative to conventional sleepwear.

How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

Our organic cotton nightwear is made using raw materials sourced locally from certified organic farms in India. These farms follow sustainable agricultural practices, avoiding synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, and genetically modified seeds. The cotton is rain-fed where possible, reducing water consumption and supporting eco-friendly farming. By sourcing locally, we reduce our carbon footprint, support rural farming communities, and ensure full traceability from farm to fabric. All cotton used meets GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) certification, guaranteeing purity, safety, and environmental responsibility throughout the supply chain.

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

Our organic garments are designed for longevity and can be easily repurposed to reduce waste. Once worn out, they can be reused as soft cleaning cloths, DIY craft materials, or upcycled into smaller accessories like headbands or pouches. Because they’re made from 100% natural, biodegradable fibers, they can also be composted at the end of their life. Repurposing helps extend the life of each garment, supporting a circular, eco-friendly lifestyle and reducing environmental impact.

Founded in 2008 by Neelu Trivedi, Arziki was born from a desire for unique, playful pieces that were gentle on skin and kind to the planet. Disappointed by the limited options available, Neelu envisioned clothes that would celebrate individuality.
