We start by procuring responsibly sourced solid wood, carefully chosen for its strength, texture, and grain. From there, our people take over, shaping each piece by hand and with a few simple tools. This slow, deliberate process keeps alive the human touch that no machine can replicate, giving every product its own quiet uniqueness. Wood Procurement: We source only solid, responsibly harvested wood that meets our quality and sustainability standards, Crafting: Using a mix of hand skills and simple tools, artisans shape the wood into functional forms with precision and patience, Finishing: Each piece is finely smoothened, and safe finishes are applied to enhance the natural wood grain while ensuring durability, Drying: Products are air-dried after finishing, allowing coatings to settle evenly and improving the longevity of the item.

What are the ingredients/materials you use?

We craft with natural, lasting materials — solid wood, ceramic, cane, and fabric — chosen for their beauty, strength, and sustainability. Apart from these, specialized fittings are also used.

How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

At Soulspiti, we are committed to sourcing materials responsibly and thoughtfully. Our solid wood is procured directly from small to mid-sized aaras (local sawmills), ensuring authenticity and supporting traditional supply chains. For specialized materials such as rattan, paints, and finishes, we work with trusted wholesalers who share our commitment to quality and sustainability. This approach allows us to combine craft with reliability, while also nurturing local networks of artisans and suppliers.

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

Yes, Soulspiti products are designed with longevity and afterlife in mind. Made from natural materials like solid wood, cane, and fabric, they can often be repurposed at home into storage, décor, or utility items. At the end of their usable life, most components are biodegradable or recyclable, making them safe to return to the earth. This way, every Soulspiti product continues its journey sustainably, even beyond its original purpose.

This is a story of two founders who hail from an idyllic place.
