What is the manufacturing process?
Our toys are designed in-house and handcrafted by skilled artisans using traditional woodworking and hand-finishing techniques. Each piece is carefully cut, shaped, sanded smooth, and finished with child-safe, non-toxic paints or natural oils. The process is intentionally slow and thoughtful to ensure safety, durability, and mindful craftsmanship rather than mass production.
What are the ingredients/materials you use?
We use natural, child-safe materials such as:
• Sustainably sourced wood
• Non-toxic, water-based paints and natural oils
• Cotton yarn and natural fibres (for crochet and soft toys)
• Paper-based, plastic-free packaging
All materials are chosen to be safe for children, gentle on the environment, and long-lasting.
How do you source your raw materials/ingredients?
Our raw materials are sourced from trusted local suppliers who follow responsible and ethical practices. The wood used is sustainably obtained, and finishes are selected to meet child safety standards. Wherever possible, we prioritise locally available materials to reduce environmental impact and support artisan communities.
During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?
Yes. Our toys are designed for long-term use and open-ended play, allowing them to be reused across ages or passed on to other children. At the end of their life cycle, wooden components can biodegrade naturally over time, while cotton and natural fibre elements can be repurposed for craft or soft play. Our plastic-free packaging is fully recyclable or compostable at home.
