Brand Story

Tots & Weaves is a heartfelt journey started by two sisters who wanted to create thoughtfully designed, high-quality kidswear that’s as kind to the planet as it is to children’s skin. Our story began with a simple idea: children deserve clothes that are soft, safe, and joyfully designed, without compromising on ethics or sustainability. Rooted in Indian craftsmanship, we blend playful aesthetics with purposeful production—each piece is made from 100% cotton and printed using AZO-free, low-impact dyes. A part of our collection is handcrafted by women artisans from an NGO in Jaipur, supporting their financial independence and dignity through meaningful work. Our goal is to build a conscious kids' wear brand that parents can trust—where comfort meets creativity, and every outfit tells a story of care, community, and childhood wonder.

We start with 100% cotton fabrics that are hand-printed using AZO-free dyes through low-impact printing techniques. The fabric is then cut, stitched, and finished by skilled artisans in India. Each piece undergoes a quality check to ensure it’s soft, safe, and comfortable for kids before it reaches our customers.

What are the ingredients/materials you use?

We primarily use 100% cotton for breathability and comfort, along with AZO-free, low-impact dyes for safe and eco-friendly printing. Our buttons and trims are chosen to be child-safe and non-toxic, ensuring the product is gentle on sensitive skin.

How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

Our cotton is sourced from trusted suppliers in India who follow ethical and sustainable farming practices. We work closely with small-scale printing units that specialise in eco-friendly, chemical-free dyeing methods. Every vendor we partner with aligns with our values of sustainability, safety, and quality.

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

Yes! Our 100% cotton garments can be repurposed easily—parents often turn them into cleaning cloths, soft toys, or keepsake quilts once their children outgrow them. Since our fabrics are natural and printed with AZO-free dyes, they are biodegradable and safe to compost at home, breaking down without releasing harmful toxins into the environment.
