Raw materials are sourced locally from regions across India where these grasses and fibres grow naturally, supporting traditional craft ecosystems and reducing transportation impact.

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

Payal Nath is the co-founder and CEO of Kadam Haat, a brand built to empower rural artisans through sustainable natural-fibre crafts. She also co-founded the NGO KADAM, which trains and uplifts artisan communities across India.

Payal has over 30 years of experience in the natural fibres and craft sector, with a background that includes working with organisations like the World Bank and UNESCO. She has been recognised with awards such as Outlook Business: Women of Worth and Women Transforming India by NITI Aayog & UN.
