SALTY SECRETS – Where Selfcare Meets Art Born during the quiet yet chaotic days of the lockdown, when the world slowed down, and creativity found new ways to bloom. What began as an experiment in blending colors, textures, and fragrances soon transformed into a full-fledged passion project – reimagining skincare as an art form. We set out with a simple mission: to make everyday self-care joyful, indulgent, and sustainable. At SALTY SECRETS, bath and body products aren’t just essentials – they are tiny moments of happiness, designed to spark delight. That’s why our soaps look like desserts, our candles double as décor, and our creations are always a little playful, a little quirky, and a whole lot of fun. But beneath the swirls, sprinkles, and pops of color, lies a conscious heart. Every product is handcrafted in small batches using skin-friendly oils, natural ingredients. Our packaging is eco-conscious, and our processes are designed to minimize waste.

What is the manufacturing process?

Our cold process soaps are handmade in small batches using the traditional cold process method. Skin-friendly oils are carefully blended, mixed with lye, and left to cure naturally over several weeks. This slow process locks in the natural goodness of the oils, giving you a bar that’s gentle, long-lasting, and deeply caring for your skin. Each soap is designed with artisanal swirls, textures, and fragrances, making it a treat for both the eyes and the skin. Our candles are hand-poured in small batches using 100% natural soy wax, a cleaner and eco-friendly alternative to paraffin. Soy wax burns slower, lasts longer, and releases fragrance more evenly – giving you a safe, sustainable, and indulgent experience. Each candle is thoughtfully designed with artisanal details, making it as much a décor piece as it is a source of warmth and ambience.

What are the ingredients/materials you use?

SOAPS : olive oil, coconut oil, castor oil, palm oil, sweet almond oil, kaolin clay, sodium hydroxide, aqua, skin friendly fragrances and colourants. WHIPPED SOAP : Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Cocamidopropyl betaine, Glycerine, Stearic Acid, Phenoxy Ethenol, Distilled Water, Skin Friendly Fragrances, Mica colourants CANDLES : 100% Soy wax, cotton wicks, soothing candle fragrances. cork lids, glass jars.

How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

We procure our skin-loving oils from trusted Indian suppliers who ensure purity, consistency, and ethical practices. Ingredients like rose petals, chamomile, lavender seeds, and oats are sourced from local growers and verified vendors, supporting small-scale farmers wherever possible. For fragrances and essential oils, we collaborate with reputed suppliers who meet safety standards and offer traceable, high-quality extracts. Our colorants and mica powders are ethically sourced to ensure they are safe for both skin and the environment. When it comes to candles, we exclusively use 100% soy wax, derived from renewable plant sources, making it a cleaner and eco-friendly alternative to paraffin. By working closely with reliable partners, we ensure that every raw material is responsibly procured and aligned with our ethos of quality, artistry, and sustainability.

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

Our cold process soaps are made with natural, skin-friendly oils and biodegradable ingredients, which means they simply melt away with use, leaving no trace behind. Each bar completes its journey with you, caring for your skin while aligning with eco-conscious living. Our candles, crafted from 100% natural soy wax, are poured into thoughtfully designed jars that are meant to be reused long after the flame has burned out. Once your candle is finished, the jar can be cleaned easily and given a new life—as a planter for succulents, a chic storage container for trinkets, a pen holder for your desk, or even a decorative accent around the home. Through simple yet mindful repurposing, our products continue their story beyond their first use—making every purchase not just a self-care indulgence, but also a step towards sustainable living.
