Impact Water was born to prevent plastic waste, protect our environment, and make sustainable choices effortless for everyone. By replacing single-use plastic with responsibly sourced, recyclable cartons, we aim to shift everyday habits towards a more conscious, modern, and kinder way of living. Impact Water is more than sustainable hydration. It is a movement toward a future where: Packaging is circular, Communities are empowered, Waste becomes opportunity, and every sip contributes to meaningful change. Our purpose is simple: To create impact with every carton.

Through our localized manufacturing model, optimized distribution routes, and commitment to serving each region from within a 300km radius, we’ve significantly reduced transportation emissions. Every carton delivered travels fewer miles, lowering fuel consumption and shrinking overall carbon footprint. Our goal is to become India’s lowest-emission packaged drinking water system. To regenerate the environments we operate in, we've planted over 800 saplings in partnership with local communities. These saplings contribute to biodiversity, improve air quality, and help offset CO2 emissions created during production and logistics. Each plantation drive strengthens our long-term commitment to a greener India. Through our 20km employment policy, all factory labor/ support staff are hired from neighborhoods surrounding our facility. This has already generated stable, dignified employment for local workers, reduced daily emissions, and strengthened micro-economies around our plant.

What is the manufacturing process?

Our cartons are made from paperboard sourced responsibly from FSC-certified forests. The water is enriched with essential minerals such as sodium, potassium, and magnesium, and then purified through a multi-step process involving reverse osmosis and ozonation. Once treated, the water is filled through a fully automated, contact-free system into the pre-formed, sterilized paperboard cartons.

What are the ingredients/materials you use?

The ingredients for the water include sodium, potassium, and magnesium. The materials in the packaging include - FSC-certified paperboard, aluminium and has a PE lining to ensure a food-grade quality product.

How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

Our primary raw material which is the paper carton, is sourced from FSC-certified forests in Finland, ensuring responsible and sustainable forestry. The minerals we use are sourced locally, and all filling and packaging take place at our facility in Navi Mumbai.

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

Yes, the carton can be refilled with water. And once recycled, the material can be repurposed into products like coasters, chairs, tables, and more (however this cannot be done at home).
