We are a brand with our own manufacturing unit located in the picturesque village of Sukna in Darjeeling. We are a small brand with big dreams of enabling change in lifestyles to a more conscious one, one product, at a time. With our beliefs firmly rooted in sustainable living, we bring artisanal, handcrafted, and fine-quality products that are biodegradable, sourced ethically, and packaged consciously.
Beyond just making products, our idea is to create an alternate source of income for tea garden laborers locally and direct lifestyles to the original Indian way of low-waste, recycling, and reusing.
Brand Story
Studio Vilasita is a social enterprise that believes in sustainable practices. We are on a mission to train and employ local hill and tribal women from marginalized parts of the society, especially from the loss-making tea gardens in our region, which is failing to pay wages and employ more people. We are also committed not to burden the earth with mindless packaging and mass manufacturing as we also come from an ecologically fragile region.

Studio Vilasita has trained more than 60 women since its inception in 2022. Although a small bootstrapped enterprise, we have created an impact locally by joining hands with the local government in the training programs.
