About Whitewater Kids

Babies crawl on the ground, put things in their mouths; their skin is more absorbent than adults. For these reasons & more, we bring the softest of organic cotton products for your little munchkins aged 0-24 months.

Sourced from India, our organic cotton is gentler and safer than regular cotton as it is grown naturally without harsh chemicals. Simply good for our babies, our farmers, and our environment!

Our delightful designs, inspired by an original poem, are hand-printed and hand-embroidered by artisans. Timeless and impeccably made with care, our products are meant to be loved and handed-down generations.

Conscious of our people, our products are ethically stitched in small batches. Each product comes with its own recyclable packaging, making it a perfect gift for your loved ones!

What is the manufacturing process?

Our products are hand-crafted in small batches using GOTS-certified organic cotton, non-toxic azo-free dyes, and traditional printing and embroidery techniques with artisans across India.

What are the ingredients/materials you use?

We use 100% organic cotton, natural or azo-free dyes, and handcrafted elements that are gentle on baby’s skin and environmentally thoughtful.

How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

Raw materials like organic cotton and dyes are carefully selected from trusted sustainable sources, and production is done with traditional artisans who share our commitment to quality and ethical livelihoods.

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

Yes. Our garments are made to last longer and can be handed down or repurposed, and the reusable cloth packaging and minimal waste design support recycling and home reuse

Shweta Dhariwal has spent over 15 years working with textile artisans and designers across India. Along this journey, she discovered remarkable craftsmanship, inspiring people, and the quiet power of handmade textiles. Living with vitiligo for most of her life has also shaped her deep sensitivity to skin, comfort, and inclusion — values that define Whitewater. A mother of two spirited children, she brings together intuition, empathy, and business acumen (sharpened by an unusual path from Accountancy Honours to the National Institute of Design). Her design approach is thoughtful, minimal, and rooted in storytelling.

Ankita Dhariwal, a graduate of the London College of Communication, balances her creative energy and love for the good things in life with digital artistry. Living with a neuromuscular condition, she approaches life — and design — with wit, determination, and grace. She brings her vibrant visual sensibility and communication skills to the heart of our brand. And if you ever speak with her, you’ll know — she’s the voice that makes our echo travel far and wide.
