Kamarkattu Ecostore started off as a social enterprise aimed at providing zero waste zero toxic life, possible and affordable in this super-fast lifestyle. Taking a break after 10 years of corporate experience in Marketing and sales of one of the country's biggest manufacturing companies, this mom of two has taken this entrepreneurial plunge in the area of her interest - sustainability!

We make toxic free essentials right from handmade bath soaps, natural shampoo bars, laundry, dish wash products made using herbs, flowers, cold pressed oils, essential oils, clays and natural colorants. Our products are backed by ancient wisdom and tradition blended with today’s requirements of comfortable usage. We, as a team, get anxious looking at all the waste created around in the name of consumption. So, we pack and deliver all our products without any plastic in packaging and shipping. Everything in our value chain right from sourcing the raw ingredients are all done with the idea that none of our products should remain as trash in our body as a toxic residue or on Earth as a landfill.

Our butters, oils, clays are all natural and native. We do not use any synthetic raw material that wouldnt biodegrade. Of course, we add no toxins that may later harm the water and our planet.

How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

We primarily source those that are immediately available around us. If not, we get in from ethical companies which match our value system. Whenever possible we ask our vendors to pack and send without generating packaging waste.

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

All our packaging material can be reused (like glass and aluminum) or composted (paper) There is no plastic in any part. Even our labels and stickers are un laminated papers that can be composted at home.
