Mam & Co. is a women-led, sustainable self-care brand rooted in coconut and consciousness. We create clean, plant-based products using simple, organic, and locally sourced ingredients, free from synthetic fragrances, harsh chemicals, and unnecessary additives. All our colours come naturally from botanicals like leaves, flowers, spices, micas and clays, while our aromas are derived from essential oils, gentle, nourishing, and suitable even for sensitive skin. Born during Diwali 2021 from a personal search for clean-burning candles, Mam & Co. introduced India’s first 100% Coconut Wax Candle, infused with aromatherapy-grade essential oils. What began with a candle has since grown into a thoughtful range of soaps, lip care, and bath rituals, all handcrafted, ethically sourced, and housed in eco-friendly, circular packaging. Based in Mumbai with roots in Konkan and Goa, Mam & Co. stands for mindful living, slow self-care, and quiet sustainability, where purity is intentional, and care extends beyond the product.

What truly sets us apart is our unwavering commitment to purity- our products are entirely devoid of synthetic additives, including SLS, parabens, colors, fillers, or fragrances. Why? Because we don't need them. All the colors in our products come from Natural Ingredients like Leaves, Flowers, Spices, Clays, etc.

Brand Story

Mam & Co. began not from trend, but a personal longing. As a candle lover, I struggled to find options that were clean—most had paraffin wax and synthetic fragrances that caused discomfort. During Diwali 2021, the need for a clean-burning candle felt urgent. My search led me to coconut wax—a pure, sustainable alternative—and Mam & Co. found its soul. We created India’s first 100% Coconut Wax Candle, infused with aromatherapy-grade essential oils to burn clean, slow, and beautifully. What began with a candle grew into a full self-care line: cold process soaps, lip care, and bath rituals—all rooted in coconut. While our studio is in Mumbai, our roots lie in Konkan and Goa. Each product is handcrafted with ethically sourced, plant-based ingredients and housed in circular packaging. What is the manufacturing process?

Each Mam & Co. product is handcrafted and hand-packed in-house at our studio. We carefully source raw ingredients from ethical local vendors, ensuring they are free from harmful chemicals and toxins. As a plastic-neutral brand, none of our products contain plastic in any form—because sustainability isn’t just a choice, it’s our commitment.

What are the ingredients/materials you use?

We use only vegan, non-toxic, and 100% plant-derived ingredients in every product. Our formulations are kept simple, clean, and rooted in indigenous wisdom. Think rich butters like mango and kokum, nourishing botanical oils such as sunflower, coconut, and sesame, along with herbs and mineral-rich clays—each chosen for their purity and purpose.

How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

The majority of our products are made using raw ingredients locally sourced from ethical vendors. Transparency is key—we thoroughly vet every ingredient to ensure it meets our standards before it makes its way into any formulation

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

Yes! Our packaging is designed to be as thoughtful as our products. Glass jars and aluminum tins can be easily washed, repurposed, or recycled. Cartons and Kraft boxes are compostable, while our gift hamper trays, baskets, and rigid boxes are perfect for reuse or storing keepsakes—because sustainability continues even after the product is used.

With over a decade of experience in the creative industry, working with leading brands and agencies, I had always been drawn to the idea of slow, conscious living, away from the constant rush of city life. Coming from a family with a strong artistic background, and guided by a natural inclination toward mindful, nature-led living, this desire only grew stronger over time.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, a simple search for a clean-burning candle became a turning point. Unable to find options that aligned with my values, I stepped into an entirely new world, one driven by purpose rather than trend. What began as a personal quest to create something honest and meaningful soon evolved into a deeper passion, and Mam & Co. was born.

Rooted in my native land of Konkan, where coconut has always been central to everyday life, coconut naturally became the heart of the brand. Keeping it as our hero ingredient, we launched our first product- 100% Coconut Wax Candles, in 2022, and gradually expanded into skincare and bath essentials.

This journey has been deeply fulfilling, allowing me to connect with like-minded individuals who value conscious, sustainable living. What may seem like a detour today feels destined, a path chosen with intention, care, and purpose.
