What is the manufacturing process?

Our eco-printing process begins with selecting high-quality organic fabrics. Fresh leaves, flowers, and plant materials are arranged on the fabric to create natural imprints. The fabric is tightly rolled or folded and steamed to transfer pigments, followed by gentle washing and drying. We use non-toxic, plant-based mordants to enhance color retention. Every piece is hand-finished, ensuring it is durable, wearable, and completely chemical-free. No synthetic dyes or processes are involved, making it safe for skin and the environment.

What are the ingredients/materials you use?

Fabrics: Organic cotton, linen, silk Natural dyes: Turmeric, indigo, pomegranate, beetroot, marigold, henna, etc. Mordants: Alum, iron and other natural fixatives Water and natural soaps for washing All ingredients are plant-based, biodegradable and safe.

How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

We source organic fabrics from certified farms in India. Natural dyes are obtained from local plant-based sources or grown sustainably. Leaves and flowers for eco-printing are collected fresh from seasonal, pesticide-free sources. Mordants like alum and iron are natural, non-toxic, and environmentally safe. All sourcing is ethical and supports local farmers and artisans.

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

The fabrics and dyes used are fully biodegradable. After their life as clothing, fabrics can be repurposed into scarves, patchwork, household textiles, or craft projects. Leftover plant matter from eco-printing can be composted at home. The entire product, from fabric to dye, leaves minimal environmental footprint.

I wanted to make clothes that are simple yet classic, that are trendy but still a legacy and most importantly clothes that neither harm your skin nor the planet.
