What is the manufacturing process?
Mouse in the House follows a thoughtful, small-batch manufacturing process focused on comfort, safety, and quality. Each garment is carefully designed and crafted using natural fabrics that are soft and breathable for children. The production approach prioritizes functionality and ease of movement, ensuring that every piece supports active, everyday wear while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship rather than mass production.
What are the ingredients/materials you use?
The brand primarily uses 100% natural cotton and other skin-friendly, breathable fabrics that are gentle on children’s delicate skin. All materials are selected with a strong focus on comfort, durability, and safety, making them suitable for long hours of wear, especially in warm and humid climates.
How do you source your raw materials/ingredients?
Mouse in the House sources its raw materials through ethical and responsible practices, with a preference for locally sourced fabrics wherever possible. This approach helps support local communities and ensures better quality control while maintaining transparency and sustainability across the supply chain.
During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?
Since the products are made using natural cotton fabrics, they are largely biodegradable over time. The garments are designed for durability and extended use, encouraging reuse, hand-me-downs, and repurposing to reduce waste. This helps extend the lifecycle of each product and supports a more sustainable consumption approach.
Our children play a big role in developing our styles. Every design goes through the ultimate test—if a child can wear it from sunrise to bedtime without discomfort, it makes the cut. If they can’t run, jump, and dream in it, it’s off the production line.
Because childhood should be about freedom, fun, and a little bit of mischief—just like a mouse in the house.
