At Trubit, we believe that everyday habits can create extraordinary change. Oral care is one of those habits - something we all do twice a day, every day. But the way it’s traditionally done comes with hidden costs - plastic tubes that last centuries in landfills, heavy chemical formulations, and unnecessary water usage in production. We set out to reimagine toothpaste from the ground up - to keep the cleaning power, the freshness, and the protection we all need, but remove the waste, the excess, and the compromise. The result is our Trubit Toothpaste Tablets – small in size, big in impact. Each tablet is scientifically formulated with gentle abrasives, fluoride for cavity protection, natural botanical extracts, and refreshing essential oils – all in a convenient, mess-free form. With Trubit, you don’t just brush your teeth - you join a movement towards sustainable self-care. We’re here to prove that small daily actions can leave a lasting, positive mark. Impact Created

1) Plastic waste avoided - A) Since the start of our venture, we have produced around 5,00,000 toothpaste tablets, which can replace around 17,000 toothpaste tubes. Each toothpaste tube is made of around 30 gms of plastic, so in total, we have eliminated the use of 510 kgs of plastic. B) An average toothbrush weighs around 20 grams. Since the start, we have produced around 75,000 toothbrushes, which means we have saved around 1,500 kgs of plastic. 2) Savings in water - Each toothpaste manufacturing requires around 2-3 litres of water; our waterless toothpaste tablets have saved around 51,000 litres of water. 3) We generally ship in corrugated boxes and compostable bags, which also eliminates the use of plastic. 4) Since our tablets are shipped in glass jars, they save space from a volume perspective, which can inturn save carbon emissions during transportation.

What is the manufacturing process?

We work with white label manufacturer (established player working with various D2C brands). We have (along with the manufacturer) designed a multi stage manufacturing process. The process is as under - 1) Ingredient sourcing & QC; 2) Ingredient prep & blending; 3) Granulation & compression; 4) Quality check 5) Packaging 6) Final QA 7) Storage and transport to our store facility

What are the ingredients/materials you use?

Mannitol, Sodium Bicarbonate, Hydrated Silica, Polyvinylpyrrolidone, Zea Mays Starch, Sodium Carboxy Methyl Cellulose, Morinda Citrifolia Fruit Extract, Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate, Xylitol, Citric Acid, Coconut Fatty Acid, Lavender Oil, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Erythritol, Stevia, Menthol, Peppermint Oil, Sodium Fluoride, Spearmint Oil.

How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

We have worked with the manufacturer in a way that all our ingredients are sourced from trusted, certified suppliers who meet food-grade and pharmaceutical-grade standards. Priority is given to suppliers with GMP, ISO or equivalent certification. All the materials sourced go through QCs check at the time of arrival within the factory premises before onboarded for manufacturing process.

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

Yes, our products are designed with end-of-life in mind to minimize waste and support a circular lifestyle. Toothpaste Tablets come in reusable and recyclable glass jars. Once empty, the jars can be repurposed for storage, for e.g., spices, travel essentials, or even as planters for small plants / herbs. Toothbrush Handles, made from wheat straw, can be composted at home after removing bristles, which can be discarded responsibly. Stainless Steel Tongue Cleaner is built to last a lifetime, but if ever discarded, it's 100% recyclable through standard metal recycling streams. Packaging is plastic-free corrugated boxes and compostable bags can go straight into your home compost or recycling bin. All in all, we have thought of our products and packaging in such a manner that they leave as little impact as possible, even after their life cycle ends.
