Lakadong is an heirloom variety of turmeric known for its high curcumin content. While regular turmeric varieties contain anywhere between 2-4% curcumin, our turmeric contains a whopping 8.4%. You'll instantly notice that our turmeric has a deep yellow colour and a swoon-worthy aroma which is the perfect indication of our turmeric being well, only turmeric. It's extremely potent so a little goes a long way!

Where does this turmeric come from?

This turmeric is grown with love by our organic farmer on her lush and verdant family farm in Khonshnong, Meghalaya. It's no-nonsense single-origin turmeric which means it comes from one farm and you get your hands on the freshest produce. Our turmeric is freshly ground in small batches using cold milling technology keeping all its amazing flavors and natural oils intact. Take a sniff and you'll know what we're talking about.
