Kasturi Manjal belongs to the family of Turmeric or Curcuma. It is considered one of the most significant herbs in Ayurveda. It has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and antibacterial properties. It is rich in antioxidants and protects the skin from harmful UV rays.It has a pungent, earthy odor and bright yellowish colour. It is bitter in taste and also known as Amba Haldi.

Try this:
Mix the Kasturi Manjal with Neem Powder and Gram Flour. Activate the pack with rose water and apply throughtly over the face and neck. Leave for 10-15 mins. Rinse afterwards. This pack is really effective in combating stubborn pimples, acne and blemishes too.
Precautions:
- It is normal if Kasturi manjal leaves a yellowish hue on face. The yellow stain will go away after washing your face with a mild cleanser.
- A slight tingling sensation is also normal if you are using it for the first time.
- Patch test recommended. Apply near your ears and leave it for 10-15 mins.
- Do not use turmeric directly on sensitive skin. Mix it with milk or besan (gram flour)
