Every year 82,000 trees are cut down to make 14 billion traditional pencils. The production of wooden pencils takes a toll on the world's forests. 
Our colour pencils are wood-free and made with recycled paper. Each pencil is made with recycled paper rolled around high-quality # 2 HB graphite that does not break when sharpening. The pencils can be sharpened using a regular sharpener and are as strong as regular wood pencils.
