Ingredients and Benefits:
Assam Black Tea – A blend of CTC and Orange Pekoe to give that kadak ahsaas with lots of flavour
Orange Pekoe - A new flush with the bud and the 2 youngest leaves are used to make OP. The long leaves are rolled to give maximum flavours to the tea and it is oxidized in a way making it high in antioxidants just like Green Tea.
Red Rose petals: Grown in India, these rose petals are sundried and infuse well in the cup. Not just fragrance, these petals offer a host of benefits. They are high in antioxidants and help relieve menstrual pain.
Saffron – The small red orange strands produce a bright yellow colour. Not only is it fascinating to look at, but it has interestingly sweet, floral earthy flavours. Research has shown saffron to be an aphrodisiac and it helps reduce PMS symptoms and mood swings. It also has cancer fighting properties.
Green Cardamom - Elaichi is one of the most expensive spices you can have in yourMasalekaDabba. The mild citrus flavour offers a combination of sweet and spicy while the tea aids digestion, improves blood circulation, and works wonders on the skin.
Cinnamon - A divine woody fragrance with a strong desirable aroma, Cinnamon is a must-have in the masala kadabba. It’s famous for its medicinal properties, and is loaded with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. It helps fight bacteria and is a secret weapon to lower blood sugar levels.
Black Pepper – Along with being spicy and warm, the flavour of this ingredient is woody and it helps better digestion and prevents constipation.
Cloves - Cloves have distinct and undeniable warmth; the flavour is almost hot but this spice is simply intense and likeable. It’s useful to clear the throat and works towards better dental hygiene as well.
Dried Ginger- Dried Ginger known as Sonth and is an integral part of most Desi kitchens and has a beautiful earthy flavour. Its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties help increase immunity and relieve common cold.
How to Consume:
Take 2.5gms of the tea leaves in a Cup
Pour 100ml to 150ml of water at 100 degrees Celsius on the leaves
Cover and Steep for 3mins
Strain & Sip your cup of ‘ImmuniTea’!
