Natural rough Stone with the coarse surface as that helps the grinding process. The base has descending ring shape to provide stability while grinding.
This comes in three sizes Medium (4 inches, 325gm), Large (5 inches, 500gm) & X-Large (6 inches, 700 gm).
Used in religious ceremonies as well to create & offer Chandan Paste.
