By a small green hill called Patangarh in Madhya Pradesh flows the Narmada, the oldest river in the Indian subcontinent, once called the Gondwana. Here the Pardhan Gonds make extraordinary murals on their adobe homes, play the bana, worship Bada Deo and sip on mahua. 

They magically turn brown into hills, green into trees and red into deers! Animals are their accomplices and nature their home.
