Hand Forged Copper Coated Bell from Kutch

Pair of Hand Forged Butterfly metal bells made with copper coating.The metal used in these bells is mostly waste tin and irons. The bell is coated in a mixture of powdered metal and flux and then wrapped in a clay envelope and fired in a small kiln. This process results in a naturally uneven patina which defines the character of the bell.These are great to hang as wind chimes, or used as other forms of festive decoration.

Care:  To clean wipe with soft cloth. Copper coating would age to rusty look with time.
