An Advent calendar is a special calendar used to count the days of Advent in anticipation of Christmas. with a small gift or a devotional phrase that is revealed on each day.

According to tradition, the original Saint Nicholas put gold coins in the stockings of three poor sisters. One night, the girls left their stockings drying over the fireplace. Saint Nicholas knew the family was very poor, so he threw three bags of gold coins down the chimney. The money landed in the sisters' stockings.

Advent Calendar by The Terra Co. has been handcrafted from textiles in the form of stockings hanging through a string of light.

1) 24 or 12 textile stockings to be filled with treats and gifts detailed with dates leading to Christmas.

2) Stockings are hung on string handcrafted from waste textiles with lights wrapped around to spread the glitter and sparkle of Christmas. Each stocking has a

small phrase written on paper with seeds to plant each day till Christmas.

3) The Garland can be hung on the Christmas tree or fireplace or wall.

4) A personalized star can be hung in the centre personalized with the name of the kid written.

Beyond Recycle- Once you remove the stockings reuse them as a pouch and use the garland on the tree as lights.
