Are cloth pads hygienic? Movies and new articles say that using cloth to manage your periods is not hygienic.
Cloth pads can definitely be hygienic. Historically, women have used cloth across the world to manage their period bleeding. What makes them unhygienic is not washing them well, drying in a damp or dark location and not storing them well. If you follow our recommended wash routine, dry in sunlight or a well ventilated bright place and store in a dry location, there's no reason for cloth pads to be unhygienic.
Do you feel wet in Bhoomi Cloth Sanitary pads?
You don't feel wet in our cloth pads, but there is a very slight damp feeling. Most of our customers have found that they don't feel wet or bothered while using the pads. In fact many of them tell us they forget they are on their period entirely.
How do you secure Bhoomi Cloth pads to the panty? Will they move around?
Bhoomi Cloth pads can be secured through the use of snaps on the wings. Where there is a glue on disposable pad wings to stick it to the panty, there are snaps on Bhoomi cloth pads. So you can attach the wings together at the back using the snaps.
Always wear a well fitted panty with Bhoomi pads so that they don't move around. You may need to experiment with different fits of the panty to find the best fit for your body. The width of the pad at the crotch (excluding wings) is 7 cm, so a panty crotch width which is almost the same would be suitable. You could also experiment with Bhoomi cloth pad sizes to find one that works better with your body.
Are Bhoomi cloth sanitary pads stain free?
Most stains go away with a good wash routine and any remaining stains will go away with sunning and repeated washes. Stains set in if you leave the pad for a long time without washing.
