Perilla Oil is aptly called a Superfood owing to its composition of Omega 3,6, and 9 fatty acids and tocopherols, all in a single natural ingredient: Perilla Seed Oil. This is the only oil in which all of these fatty acids are found together and in these rich quantities.
This healthy oil has antioxidants, strong anti-inflammatory properties and cardiovascular protective effects. It has a smoky flavour profile and high protein content making it very suitable for salad dressings and raw consumption. Just a few drops a day can marginally improve heart health and prevent allergic reactions. The oil is obtained by cold-pressing Perilla seeds and is done by backward communities in the mountains.
