Longpi Jug Vase | Handmade Traditional Home Decor

The Longpi Jug Vase is a handcrafted piece of traditional Longpi Black Pottery, bringing the earthy character of Tangkhul Naga craft into contemporary homes.

Made by skilled Longpi artisans in Ukhrul, Manipur, the vase is shaped entirely by hand using serpentinite stone and weathered river clay. It is made without a pottery wheel or mould and finished using traditional techniques, giving each piece its own natural texture, form and character.

Inspired by the familiar form of a traditional jug, its simple silhouette makes it versatile for both everyday use and home styling. Use it as a vase for flowers, a decorative centerpiece, or simply as a sculptural object that adds warmth and an earthy, handcrafted feel to your space.

Longpi pottery is known for being strong and sturdy, making this piece more than just decor. Its dark, natural finish and handmade character allow it to sit comfortably in both traditional and contemporary interiors.

Each vase is individually handcrafted, so natural variations in color, texture, shape, size and finish are part of its character. No two pieces are exactly alike.

With its timeless form and living craft heritage, the Longpi Jug Vase is designed to be used, displayed and cherished as an everyday heirloom from the hills of Ukhrul.
