Product Information

Whole desi chana, also known as kala chana or Bengal gram is one of the most loved pulses in Indian kitchens. It's small, dark, and firm. The chana is unpolished and carefully sorted, so it stays close to its natural form. It holds its shape well when cooked and has a nutty, earthy taste.

Ways to use it

Make kala chana curry or sundal
Boil and toss into chaat and salads
Sprout for a simple, fresh snack
Add to pulao, soups, and everyday meals

Where it's sourced from

Grown in the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh, a traditional pulse-growing belt.
