About The Beyond Us

The Beyond Us - Brown Living™

Beyond Us was born in Bhilwara — India’s textile city — where fabric isn’t just an industry; it’s a way of life. Hardik grew up understanding cloth at its source. But he kept seeing the same gap: India produces some of the finest fabric in the world, yet the conscious consumer never gets access to it. The quality gets lost somewhere between the loom and the label. Tanisha brought the vision to life — with a creative instinct sharpened across design, entrepreneurship, and an eye for what people truly connect with. Together they built Beyond Us with a simple purpose: to close that gap. To take exceptional fabric, make it responsibly, design it thoughtfully, and put it in the hands of people who care about what they wear. The goal has never changed: clothing that feels as good as it does good. Comfortable, quality, and conscious. Not as a trend. As a standard. Beyond Us is what happens when you stop accepting less.

What is the manufacturing process?

Every Beyond Us garment is made in GOTS, SA8000, and OEKO-TEX certified factories. We use Huntsman dyes, processed in a certified facility running on recycled water — responsible at every stage. Each collection brings its own fabric story. We work with a range of carefully selected materials — chosen collection by collection for their feel, quality, and impact. Made right. From start to finish.

What are the ingredients/materials you use?

We are deliberate about every fabric we choose. Our materials include: Tencel Modal - exceptionally soft, breathable, and derived from sustainably sourced wood pulp. Gentle on skin, gentle on the planet. Supima Cotton - premium American cotton known for its superior softness, strength, and colour retention. The finest cotton, built to last. Regenerative Organic Cotton - grown using farming practices that restore soil health and support biodiversity. Sustainability that goes beyond the garment. Premium Cotton Linen Blends our newest direction. The breathability of linen meets the softness of cotton — natural, textured, and effortlessly wearable. Every material is chosen with the same question in mind: does it feel as good as it does good?

How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

Sourcing at Beyond Us is never passive. We research, verify, and visit. Every material partner is selected based on their certifications, sustainability practices, and commitment to responsible production. We audit factories and farms in person before placing a single order because a certification on paper means nothing without the reality behind it. Our regenerative organic cotton, for example, comes from an end-to-end producer in Madhya Pradesh from regenerative farming in the field to finished fabric under one roof. We have walked their farms, audited their facilities, and verified their process firsthand. That is the standard we hold for every material we use. We don’t just source fabric. We source trust.

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

Yes, Beyond Us garments are made from natural, biodegradable materials - Tencel Modal, Supima Cotton, Regenerative Organic Cotton, and Cotton Linen Blends. At the end of their life, these fibres can return to the earth without leaving harmful residue behind. But we design for longevity first. A Beyond Us garment is built to be worn, reworn, and passed on not discarded. The most sustainable end of life is one that takes years to arrive. When that time does come, the materials do the right thing naturally.

Founded by Tanisha Jain

Beyond Us didn’t start as a business plan. It started as a belief — that clothing could be better. Better in how it feels, better in what it’s made of, and better in the intention behind it. Hardik c
