We work closely with local farming and artisan communities, adopting organic farming methods and traditional craft techniques that ensure purity, authenticity, and cultural preservation. Rooted in the values of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), we offer local Himalayan products such as nutrient-rich grains, aromatic herbs, wild honey, handcrafted textiles, folk art and beeswax candles as well. Everything we create is made in harmony with nature. Each purchase directly supports rural families, uplifts women entrepreneurs, and helps keep the timeless traditions of the mountains alive.

By sourcing directly from farmers, we ensure fair prices while reviving eco-friendly farming traditions. Our work preserves Uttarakhand’s cultural heritage, reduces migration by generating local opportunities, and promotes eco-conscious living through natural, handmade products. What is the manufacturing process?

Herbal teas are processed like solar dried, moisture controlled and sterilized. Salts are hand grounded on the Sil batta, Culinary herbs are handpicked and Sun & Shade dried. Honey is procured from bee boxes and kept outer side of the forest area of Shivalik range. Candles are hand made and Aipan art stationary items are hand made and hand painted.

What are the ingredients/materials you use?

Local Himalayan Herbs like Chamomile, Rosemary, Lemongrass and Himalayan Produce like Rajma, Red Rice, Horsegram, Black Soyabean, Local herbs infused with salts and hand grounded on the sil batta

How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

With a strong base of over 2000 farmers associated with us, we ensure direct procurement from the source. This not only guarantees authenticity and freshness but also supports farming communities. Backed by this network, we are well-equipped to supply bulk quantities while maintaining consistent quality and trust.

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

At Pahari Haat, most of our products are made from natural and eco-friendly materials. This means they can either be repurposed for daily use or composted at home to enrich the soil. Our packaging too is designed to be reusable and sustainable. In this way, every product you buy is not only useful in your life but also kind to the Earth.
