What are the ingredients/materials you use?

Our blends incorporate fine teas such as green tea, black tea, white tea, oolong tea, and herbal infusions, combined with carefully selected botanical ingredients including chamomile, lavender, hibiscus, blue pea flower, rose petals, lemongrass, peppermint, tulsi, cinnamon, ginger, fennel, turmeric, and other functional herbs and spices. Each ingredient is chosen not only for its taste and aroma, but also for its traditional wellness properties and sensory experience. Tea Melange emphasizes minimal processing and avoids unnecessary artificial additives, synthetic colors, or harsh preservatives, allowing the natural character of the ingredients to remain intact. How do you source your raw materials/ ingredients?

Our tea leaves are carefully selected from reputed tea-growing regions known for their quality and flavor profiles, while many of our herbs and botanicals are sourced from farms and suppliers specializing in natural cultivation practices. We prioritize ingredients that are fresh, minimally processed, and rich in natural aroma, taste, and wellness properties. Before procurement, ingredients are evaluated based on quality parameters such as appearance, aroma, cleanliness, consistency, and overall sensory profile. We also emphasize building long-term relationships with reliable sourcing partners to maintain consistency and transparency throughout the supply chain.

During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?

Many of the botanical ingredients used in our tea blends, including herbs, flowers, spices, and tea leaves, are natural and biodegradable. After brewing, the used tea blends can often be composted at home and returned to the soil as organic matter, helping reduce kitchen waste while supporting eco-friendly practices. In some cases, used tea leaves and botanicals may also be repurposed for simple home applications such as natural potpourri, plant nourishment, or gentle DIY wellness and skincare rituals. Tea Melange also aims to use packaging materials that are recyclable, reusable, or lower in environmental impact. Our tea containers and cartons can often be creatively reused for storage, gifting, or decorative purposes, encouraging consumers to extend the life of the packaging rather than discard it immediately.
