What is the manufacturing process?
Our manufacturing process follows a handmade + machine-assisted approach designed to maintain product quality while minimizing environmental impact. 1. Bio-Enzyme Preparation: We begin by fermenting fruit peels (mainly citrus), jaggery, and water in controlled conditions for 60–90 days. . 2. Formulation & Blending: Once the enzymes mature, they are filtered and blended with plant-based surfactants (derived from coconut and sugarcane), natural stabilizers, and mild natural preservatives to ensure product safety and shelf life. 3. Fragrance & Functional Additions: Natural essential oils and ingredients like neem, aloe vera, and glycerin are added for fragrance, skin-friendliness, and additional cleaning or hydrating properties. 4. Filling & Packaging: Products are filled using semi-automatic machines to ensure consistency and hygiene. We use recyclable PET bottles 5. During its life and beyond, can your products be repurposed or composted at home?
Yes, all Onera Clean products are formulated to be 100% biodegradable and greywater-safe, which means the water used for cleaning can be safely reused for gardening or other non-potable purposes. Since our products are made entirely from plant-based, bio-enzyme, and non-toxic ingredients, they do not harm soil, aquatic life, or groundwater even after disposal. The enzymes and natural surfactants in our formulations break down easily in the environment, leaving no toxic residue or buildup. While the product itself is not compostable, its wastewater can safely return to nature — making every use cycle eco-positive and water-conscious.
