Unacceptable Product Quality, Disappointing Customer Service and a Terrible Delivery Experience

It is unacceptable to receive a brand-new product in this condition. As shown in the photographs, the item has visible reddish-brown marks that appear to be rust, which is simply not what a customer should expect when purchasing a new product. What makes this experience even more disappointing is the response from customer service. I was told that “it was product details that we explained” and that “it is in the nature of the product to have all these white bits.” I understand that certain materials may naturally have variations or marks, but there is a significant difference between the natural characteristics of a material and what appears to be rust on a new item. Instead of acknowledging my concern and properly addressing the condition of the product, customer service seemed to expect me to accept it as normal. I find this response shocking and completely unacceptable. Explaining a product's characteristics does not justify dismissing legitimate concerns about its quality or condition upon delivery. To make matters worse, the delivery experience was an absolute nightmare. For several days, I repeatedly received updates claiming that the item had been delivered or that we were not at home, despite us being at home all day, waiting for the delivery. Having to deal with repeated, inaccurate delivery updates over several days was extremely frustrating and a complete waste of time. A customer should not have to endure such a frustrating delivery process only to receive a product in questionable condition and then face a dismissive response from customer service when raising legitimate concerns. Customers pay for new products with the reasonable expectation that they will be delivered on time and in acceptable condition. They should not have to chase deliveries, dispute inaccurate updates, or argue with customer service simply to have their concerns taken seriously.
