Daman is an amalgamation of India’s rich textile heritage with the Japanese art of Furoshiki, creating beautiful and eco-friendly fabric gift wraps. The word ‘Daman’ is the Sanskrit word for gift or the act of giving and Furoshiki is the Japanese technique of wrapping gifts, books and other objects with fabric.
Fabric gift wraps are an eco-friendly alternative to paper and plastic wraps. Make our fabric gift wraps a part of your gift! Dman wraps can be reused as a gift wrap or can be used creatively as a napkin, a bandana or even as a scarf!
Our Daman Furoshiki wraps are made in 100% cotton, with traditional Indian hand block printing using vegetable and natural dyes.
Our Gift Set of 3 Assorted Wraps has a selection of prints from indigo, geometric and nature-themed prints. We have curated an eclectic mix of prints in different colours for this collection!
The assorted set of 3 will have one print each from Indigo print, Geometric Print and Nature theme print. Please message us if you would like any specific print.
Each Daman Wrap is accompanied by an easy to follow wrapping instruction diagram. A sizing guide is included to make it easy to understand which wrap is suitable for which size of the package.
The set of 3 is offered in the following options:
- Small Gift set - Set of 3 small ( 18 inches) assorted prints in an Urban Creative Gift Box
- Medium Gift Set - Set of 3 medium (24 inches) assorted prints in an Urban Creative Gift Box
The above Daman sizing guide is a volumetric guide. This size wrap can be therefore used for objects measuring 9 x 6 x 2 inches or 7 x 5 x 3 inches.
